Ground Dalia Powder
- Soak the fine ground dalia powder (1cup) in 3/4 cup of milk.
- Mix well and let it sit for half an hour . You can add the orange rind to this mixture at this stage.
- In 1/4 th cup milk mix half lemon juice and orange juice and leave aside. - In a separate bowl, mix half cup Atta , 1 tbsp baking powder and half tbsp baking soda. And keep aside. - After half an hour, add 1 cup sugar, 1/4th cup oil and 1 tbsp vanilla essence to the dalia mix. - Now add in the milk (mixed with lemon and orange juice), and all the dry ingredients and mix well. - Bake at 180 degree celcius for 30/40 minutes in an oven. You can sprinkle some nuts on top to make it richer before baking. - The cake is ready. Let it cool completely before demoulding.
